Client Story: Rockett Fashion
Rockett Fashion is an independent fashion brand consultant for luxury and sustainable designers.
As Eleanor explains, she created Rockett Fashion to help fashion designers do business. It’s this simplicity and no-nonsense feel that we wanted to carry through the Custom Website design.
We started with an influence from architectural magazines and a desire for a warm monochrome colour palette to develop a welcoming design. The final site is structural and functional whilst also being a fun and stimulating place for potential clients to soak up Rockett Fashion’s knowledge and brilliance.
Triangle elements brought from the original logo design have been teased out around the site to add depth to the finished look.
What did life feel like before working with me?
I'd been struggling over my website for a long time as I wasn't happy with what it looked like or how it worked. I really wasn't sure how I could attract my target clients and what I wanted to the website to feel like. I thought that I could create the website that I wanted myself - with very limited design skills! I struggled around and wasted a lot of time trying to get to grips with creating a site on my own before I started to look for someone to help me create exactly what I wanted.
And what’s different now?
I am so pleased with the final result of my website. I really feel like it fits with the ideas that I had in my head initial and will be appealing to my wide ranging target audience. Eleanor has curated some amazing colours that work perfectly with my images. Having not wanted to share my website with people for a long time as I was concerned that it wasn't creative or professional enough to compete in the fashion industry I am now so proud of how it looks and works!
What hesitations did you have about hiring me?
I had no hesitations in hiring Eleanor once I'd had the initial consultation call with her a month or so before commencing my project. My initial hesitation surrounded getting in touch in the first place! I was really wary about spending money on someone creating my site for me as at the time I felt this was something I could have done myself. Well - I couldn't have been more wrong. Eleanor brought my ideas to life in ways that I didn't even imagine!
How would you describe your experience of working together?
I loved every second of working with Eleanor! She is extremely organised, thorough and detail-oriented. The homework that she set me to complete before she started working on the site was very effective at getting me to think clearly about who I was targeting and how I wanted to showcase my business. I loved receiving uplifting emails almost every evening to update me on the new additions that Eleanor had made to the site. I am so pleased with the final result of the website, it is everything that I hoped for and more.
What has been your biggest result?
I would say that my business result is being truly proud to show off my website to anyone and everyone!
What else would you like to share about your experience?
Eleanor was amazing at turning all of my ideas and notes into something that absolutely works! My main aim with the site was to attract luxury fashion brands to my consulting service and she's effectively created a high end, sophisticated and professional site that does just this. Eleanor was super easy to work with, got back to my messages extremely quickly and listened to exactly what I wanted to create. 10/10 would recommend to anyone in need of a new site!
